Hint of Autumn

You can feel the season approaching in all your senses. You can hear the children coming home from school, you see the surplus of pears in the markets, you feel the temperature slowly dropping down from the 90s. So why not add the other two senses, smell and taste to this delightful season. That’s why I decided to make the Pear and Goat Cheese Tart this week. Now let me describe my taste of the tart to you…the creamy goat cheese creates a tart filling similar to cheesecake pairing fantastically with the pears. The final flavor is a mild sweetness making this tart appropriate even for breakfast.
