2020!

Happy New Year! This year marks the start of our 10th Anniversary. And thanks to this awesome construction crew above we opened our doors for business on February 24, 2010. From the front row to the back: Alix Rider, Jamie Rice, Kaela Rider, Gail Bachmann, me (Greg Rider), and Mark Rider — we appreciate your labor of love every day. And to each one of our staff members over the years and customers, we are so grateful that you have us over for dinner… and for your special times that take place in your lives. Our gratitude grows every day we are open. Hugs and good smells… for many more years to come.

Joy

November brings the excitement of the upcoming holidays. Planning, hosting and enjoying family & friends. Our Open House event on November 7 was marvelous with new and old friends stopping by. We offered Pickled Shrimp and Peach Bellini — a delightful combination from our guests’ response of… mmmm!

So for the past eight years, we have joined with our neighbors to host this event. But this year, we were one angel less. Joy Hollingsworth, a partner of Cottage By The Sea, was a well-loved southern lady who lived up to her name — always sharing her strength and support for others. Sadly, Joy passed away on October 14, 2019. Her smile will remain in our hearts. We send her family our deepest condolences.
