February…the month of romantic food!
Yes, this month does have a few celebrations from Valentine’s Day to Black History Month to possible a special day for you. So we are grateful that you let us do a some of your cooking. Especially for the ‘love’ day…we had a delicious menu with two special options that went over quite well. (Thank you all for sending the wonderful notes, emails and postings back to us.) Because last year, our 2nd year in business, was CRAZY. We didn’t know what hit us until we stopped. Our sales tripled that day. So this year, we had a plan…thank goodness. And yes, we are already thinking about next year…what will we make?
And on that note of yummy thoughts…we had a customer who tracked his eating expenses for 7 months. The first three months expenses were from groceries and dining out: $1599. The next three months expenses were from Gregory Paul’s, groceries and dining out: $1087 plus many of the dinners served 3 helpings. Umm…sounds like we all should start ‘shopping’ at Gregory Paul’s!
